OK a buddy gave me this axle set up for Christmas and I did not really look at it till recently ( had too much other post Christmas stuff to do) so when I get to looking at it and doing the mock up ( building a drift trike) I found that the axle set up is entirely different than what I thought it would be. It has no key ways to lock sprocket or brake disc, so I just drilled and taped for set screws ( the screws in the pics are temp till I get hardened set screws).....so I can use it this way .....till I find that I cannot find any rims for the hole spacing that the hubs are set up for.....I have looked and searched over the web for rims that will bolt up to these adapters ....so far no luck....
The hole spacing on the adapter appears to be 3.059 inches or 77 or 78 mm and I have not been able to find a rim that matches the hole spacing.....The other pics are so maybe some one out there can id what I have.
I admit it has been a long time ( 20 years or so since I worked on karts ) and even then I built racing flat head engines did not really deal with frames axles and tires as such except when I went to the races with friends that raced . I am building this drift trike from parts and pieces that have accumulated in my shop over the years....going to play with it for a while and then probably sell it .....
The hub that I am talking about is the middle pic......
Thanks for any help .......

Thanks madprofessor .....I am going to look at these.....I really wanted to just find rims that would bolt to this axle but I am beginning to believe my best option is to do just change this axle out....... I believe this axle assembly is a replacement for one of the China made karts and since there is so many different style of builds it is not going to work for me......
Thank you.....

That looks like an ATV hub. So you would need ATV rims. Then just take the axle to a machine shop and have a key way broached.

Yes this is one of the options that I was looking at .....I thought that these was a ATV axle ....but I don't know about these things .....like I said I have been away from karts and such for over 20 years.....I have thought about going with the racing axles set up but that might be more of a problem that I want to deal with ....mostly because that I would have to change the set up that is on there now....we will see ...
