Help me with the wheels!!

Greetings from Nepal!
I am new to building go-karts. I started designing my steering, the chassis and worked out few other parts. However, I am a bit confused with the wheels. Everywhere I see, the wheels and the tires come separately. Is that the case? Or do we get to buy the whole assembly? Or am I looking at this the wrong way? Please help.

He said check Gopowersports.com They have the wheel and tire assembly sold as one.
But they are in Texas and you are in Nepal. So I dunno

Okay. How do I start out now? I saw that the wheels are rated as 6'' or 10''. I guess those are the wheel diameters. How do I check if the wheels are good for the axle I want to use?

I have a 1 inch steel shaft that I can thread at the ends . I plan to use as the axle. It's a solid shaft. I have another hollow shaft of the same diameter(outer). Actually, can you please suggest which one should I use for the rear axle? I guess hollow would do for the front ones. But do I need the stiff solid shaft on the rear axle?
And how do I find out if it is right with the wheel?

OK...this is a bit tough...but I'll do the best I can:

UMMM...Gokarts either have live axles or dead axles...what that means is either the axle turns "live' or it doesn't and one wheel is spun on a non-moving axle.

Now..usually...these live axles have keyways to lock the wheels (because turning both is the point....while dead axle wheels have bearings...and the "axles" are usually just bolts with the heads cut oft and welded in tubing.
