Help me wire this motor

I got this free with some other stuff I picked up. The guy said it worked.

I know there are a bunch of you here that would be able to tell me, cause I can't find an answer.

What terminal is what? They are labeled 1,2,4,5,6.
No cover plate that had the schematic. I don't find any info by the model numbers either.

I have no clue, but googling the model number came up with some pics and URL's that might help??? If they don't....I wouldn't even know because I'm not an electrical guy

you can measure it with a multimeter..

looks like an AC unit.. based on the label (split 1/3 hp)
they refere to a plit phase.. it'll have two identical seperate coils.

you'd measure something around 23 Ohms per coil

measure each pair (1-2, 1-4, 1-5, 1-6, 2-4, 2-5, 2-6, 4-5, 4-6, 5-6)
and note down the resistance for each set.

you will see the two coils are identical (should be around 23 Ohms)
(for an example let's say 1-2 and 4-5)
and one coil connected to some other continuity
(for this example say 5-6 has 200 Ohms therefor 4-6 has 223 ohms)

That means one Line (115 DC terminal) will be terminal #4
And the other phase is either terminal #1 or terminal #2
The switching is done by connecting terminal #5 to either #2 or #1

to determine coil direction of the first coil you need to hook it up
and see where it spins more freely and willingly

the remaining set (#5-#6) will be the temperature sensor
since I don't knwo what characteristics the sensor has I'm unable to tell you at what value it should cut off the motor I'm afraid.

PS once figured swapping the DC terminals will reverse the motor direction of course
