Guys I want to build mini bike on my own. I have 32.8 cc, 1.4hp,7500rpm engine,I want to use wheels of wheelbarrow. I am little bit confused. Can that engine hold all those loads? How much max. weight can it hold with 32.8 cc(1.4hp) engine? If u need information here is the link http://www.mudah.my/Tanaka+SUM+328+SE+II+Brush+Cutter-19014554.htm .plz guys I seriously need help..

Welcome

if you build it lightweight, then the engine will get you going of course;
but not enough to break any land speed record ;)

This engine looks great to be just a bolt on to a small bicycle for example
(BMX, going 15-20mph perhaps)

Anything heavier than this and I'd rather suggest a different engine (something double that HP at least).

This motor is a 49cc weed eater motor pushing 1.6hp @ 8000 rpm if i remember right. It pulled the mini quad it came from to 30+ mph with me on it. Im 6' @ 165lbs..... It mostly has to do with the gearing. Look at how SMALL the clutch sprocket is and how big the axle sprocket is.....

A 15 tooth sprocket will get you no where...... bicycle parts will get you no where.... To use that motor you will HAVE to use the same clutch mine has. OR you will need to find the reduction gear box that bolts up to that motor. Look on eBay for them , I'll post a link in a little bit to show you what i mean.....

The wheels would be of 8" diameter

That's not important. What is important is the size of the tires. At any rate- every thing is wrong. The motor is small, the tires (wheelbarrow)are too big, the bearings in the wheels aren't meant for speed, and the gearing is impossible. You must have counted wrong. For the chain to work, the sprockets would have to be the same diameter.

You want the smallest engine count and the largest wheel tooth count. An 8" TIRE would be alright, but an 8" wheelbarrow tire is more like 14". Again- here smaller is better with an underpowered engine.

Edit: Wheelbarrow tires are probably bigger than that! !!!!
