Help me out mounting this motor.

The motor/bracket has 4 holes pre-drilled 6x4in center.

I was thinking about using ORP bottom feet, drilling two new holes in the mount, and calling it a day.


Or feet to the bottom plate and drill two holes to that mount to the feet.



I have a top plate for the ORP with a 5 degree but its much smaller (not in photo).

Regardless of how you get it to line up, you will do better with slots. This will give you the ability to move fore and aft. Necessary for chain tension adjustment.

Yes, just don't lock it down solid with no way to adjust it.

There's no need to cut slots, motor-mounts for racekart frames like yours are designed to simply clamp around the 2 frame rails to achieve serveral inches of forward/back chain adjustment:

There should be a threaded sleeve between the two bearing mounts, this allows a long m8 bolt to stop against the motor mount.
