My buddy just bought this kart, it is pretty hacked together and is going to take quite a bit of work to fix up. I have tried using google lens to ID this kart, but I'm not coming up with much. Any help would be appreciated!

Cool rig for a quick weekend living out west ;)

Looks like Connecticut plates. Not very out west.

But yeah that looks like a cool buggy. Don't know what it is though. Most china karts will sport the same parts though. Just make measurements and compare to what's advertised. Likely a lifan clone engine. Better pics will help. Also try to find the engine code stamped somewhere.

Correct, Connecticut. The guy who sold it to my buddy said its a Spyderbox. I can see the similarities, but we think its something different.

Looks like you need some upper control arms. Once fixed up, that thing will be cool as hell. I have a Tomberlin firefox 120. Different than yours, but I can see some simularities. If its still there, the plastic cap on the center of the steering wheel should say Tomberlin. BTW, the roof rack looks a little too big.

I agree. It looks like a Tomberlin Crossfire.
It's not a _____ (k-word). Can‘t put a luggage carrier on a Go Kart 🤣🤣🤣

All in fun, guys! But I think the luggage box may have helped ”do in” this buggy and wreck the suspension. All that extra weight and up top too, no less, may have caused multiple rollovers or just overloaded the suspension.
