Help ID this engine please.

My friend and I are going to build a go kart. We have an engine which we think will be suitable, the only problem is that we know nothing about the engine. He got it scrapping, off a rototiller. The only words on it are craftsmen, 9 square inches. That's about 150 cc, and I figure it'll have loads of torque, being off a rototiller. Anyone have any idea what we're working with here?

Having it be off a rototiller wont make it have any more torque.

Probably a 5ish hp tecumpseh.

Flywheel shroud should have a Sears number on it. Something like 143.xxxxxx. This number will tell a lot.

I found the number. I thought there wasn't one on there, but after cleaning off the plate I thought was blank a number was revealed. 143 614032

What does this mean?

Translates to ECH 90 which is Exclusive Craftsman Horizontal 9 cu. in. made by Tecumseh.
The 143 number always means Tecumseh.
