Someone gave me this kart this weekend to fix up for my son. He said it is a Thundercart, but it has been repainted and has no markings telling what it is. I need to do some repairs to get it going, starting with the driven wheel hub that had the inner bearing come apart. The hub is damaged and I cannot seem to find one that matches. It came with a Robin 7hp motor that the guy says I can use but he wants it back. Who can tell me about it and where can I get parts? Any help would be appreciated.

The hub measures 3.75". I am not sure of the lug pattern, but it has 6" wheels. None of the hubs I've seen online match up. I may consider cutting off the axles (bolts) and getting the wider ones on the one link you posted.

I have been able to get it put back together, at least to get by for a while. It ditched the engine since it needed work and the guy wanted it back anyway. I got a Tecumseh:furious2: since it was cheap and replaced the brake band and throttle cable. I took it for a very breif spin late last night for the first time. I need tubes for 2 tires and I may end up buying spindles for the front ( worn at the bolt hoses and very f'd up ackerman angle).

I also picked up some material to build the seat and it may be good to go after that. Once it is all set up and driving I will probably tear it all apart again to clean and paint it.
