keep looking on craigslist..in every county within driving distance. I had to drive 4 hours each way for the first one a few years back.
but you might not be in the good old usa, maybe ? Or weld your own....many of us do that .

Know of any metals dealers/salvage yards within driving distance? A few sticks of 1" round or 1" square steel tubing would get you started on building your own frame, if you can weld and have the use of a cheap welding machine. Otherwise, redflash's idea on shopping Craigslist or something similar, maybe finding a rough-looking rusty frame for next to no cost, would end up being your cheaper way out. I'll attach some links that may be helpful to you............some free kart plans, a cheap house-current (120volt) welder like mine, and some parts dealers...............

Sure we can help you out. But you have to answer some questions for us first! Can you weld? What will the kart be used for? Are you handy with tools? Do you have any tools?

No, I can't weld, and im in high school and I'm planning to build the go-kart as a project to help me get into college for mechanical engineering. I can use tools I'm good with them, and if I need I can also go buy some tools.

I Found this one near me, but idk if the rust in the go-kart will affect its durability and it would still work. And if you know how to clean it, it would be helpful. I don't know how to clean it as well.

Very hard to tell how bad the rust is from your picture. Hard to imagine it is so bad that the frame would be structurally compromised. Ways to remove rust include a product called Navel Jelly which will remove the surface rust. After that it would be a wire brush on a drill and then sandpaper and lots and lots of elbow grease. If you have the access and the money sand blasting the frame
AFTER removing all the parts would be the quickest and most effective.

If you can look it over before purchase, look for cracks (in the frame)
...& also, look for "flat spots" underneath from scraping on the ground

If it looks structurally sound & you can get it for a good price, go for it :cheers2:

Surface rust can be easily removed by hand (like Pancho mentioned) with sand paper
