Help! Axle problems.

So I got this frame for free I'm trying to get it all stripped down to just the frame to clean up and pain I just wanted to keep the axle. The problem is that the bering are holding everything in place after many attempts to use a hammer to beat on it would not work. I use WD-40 on all parts to get them loose even over night. Any ideas on how to get it out.

well with the grubscrews still in place the bearings SHOULD keep the axle in place..
so remove the grubscrews first!

the grub screws sit in the collar of the inner race (you can see it in your third pic)

I am not able to get them out they are stripped. Should I drill them out? And thanks in advance!

You can carefully try to drill it out... but after that your going to need heat to help those along...
Another thing... get some scotch brit pad and polish the shaft up... less crap on there makes it much easier to remove the bearings, aswell as using heat...

I just went through this. Just cut the axle out and start over. The bearing are cheap, the axle isn’t too bad either. Lots less frustration.
