Hello!
I am Justin. Long story short my daughter loved riding my mower so i figured i would build a go kart. I habe a murray explorer with a predator 212 today i got it to actually run however the torque converter/jackshaft driven spring busted so its down lol. I want to fix this thing up to be nice and take care of if. But i dont know whag i need to order. It has a jack shaft that is threaded on the ends. I want to replace fhe whole jackshaft and torque converter! Just make it a little smoother to run but i have no idea what i need to order. Please help! Sorry this was still long winded.

I would keep that jackshaft and look at replacing only the bearings. If you replace the jackshaft you would have to put new threads on a keyed shaft, I doubt you'll find one that size. Or use lock collars, I like the threaded ends better.

If you wanted to just replace the spring, itd save you some coin:

replacing the 30 series is easy enough, I dont know your sprocket size but here is one for 40/41 chain. Make sure to get the right size (#5, #40/41) for your sprocket.

Edit: I guess you might actually be using a 40 series with a jackshaft. I find you some you links

40 series driven red spring:

40 series driver springs and weights:

Replace entire 40 series:

Cant help with the belt, You would need to post center to center distance for me to look it up.

I "LOLed" when you said she likes to ride the lawnmower :D

That torque converter is a mess, I would recommend getting a $53 Chinese one off eBay and getting a "real" belt for it. The one you have it going to be tough to clean and will chew through belts really fast as is, if you can even get it cleaned up enough to work.

Just order a new tc, find numbers on belt get a new one. Just spray lube the bearings and run it. If they will turn and aren't slopping around keep them. No sense making a bunch of extra work just because of surface rust. Stick a wire brush in a drill and clean the exposed shaft off and some fine sandpaper. Otherwise you're making it all too hard and doing unnecessary work. It's just a go kart.
