I'm Nosandwich, thinking about building a cart from scratch.

No, those are mobility scooters.

And they have a lot of potential as fun machines. Pld mobility scooter plus a 4 speed Lifan dirt bike engine = insanity!

as you might have noticed, folk around is strange at times

But they mean well!
They're also a well -sorry- fountain of knowledge once you get to their play button.

So to get you up to speed :
play buttons usually are pushed by posting an adequate picture showing the issue/task at hand, describing it as thoroughly as possible is great, but no replacement for some decent imagery

Also you will encounter the one or other "inside joke" occasionally,
from sandwich over sammich to sammy the cat is far fetched for most, on here that could get mentioned (*cough*) just ignore that for now.

You'll get to know such hints one day and you'll find they're as boring as they sound when you heard them the first time

yes, karts move, carts get moved...
and since the whole indiustry spells it with a k if it's a-go-go (couldn't resist )
we tend to do that too.
No hard feelings, just a common sentence around here.
just like "this thread is useless without pics" which you will surely see at one point.

Now that was a long welcome I guess..
but I thought I'd explain one or two things in case the previous welcome messages read somewhat bewildering
