I live on 10 aces on central CA.
I have a couple of old kart frames, a craftsmen(?,will edit later) motor that needs TLC, axles, bearings, chains, even scored some nice tires with rims when i moved in.
Basically I have a lot of "crap", and a welder, that I intend on turning into a off road go cart.
This project will take me a long time, do to my disability, and the numerous other projects that take priority (chicken coop, truck, jeep, mow, rinse repeat lol).
I am here to document my progress, as well as search for information and inspiration.
I am a skilled mechanic and technician. Still learning to weld with the 90(?) amp mig I have. I have little experience with the little motors. Most coming from the lawnmower/edger, chainsaws, and other yard eq.
Oh yeah Honda 90!! I have a hand full of those to toy with, should end up with 2 good ones when its all said and done. But I'm having trouble with the first one ... for another forum.
However the thought has crossed my mind to, later, waaay later lol, put a Honda 90 motor into a kart.
I will load up some pictures, of the starting lineup, so to speak.
