Just found this site whilst doing a bit of research for a project I've got in mind - a motorized drift trike - BMX front end, go kart rear.
Thought I'd sign up and say hello.

Some interesting builds and really useful info on here (knew nothing about centrifugal clutches until today), off to do a bit more reading.....

Welcome to the forum!!! It's definitely an interesting place (which is the way we like it!!). This place could probably figure out how to generate nuclear fusion with cocktail onions and a colander if we could all get together in the same room (not really; but you get the idea). Hope you stick around.

^^^Thanks for those links, had already found the first one and seen the video for the second - love the styling of the front ends.

I'm planning on going a slightly different route to those - I haven't got wide expanses of tarmac round here but out the back of work there is some wasteland so I'm hoping to make a dirt track drift trike and have some fun out there.....

So far I've only got some kart rear wheels with wet tyres on them but looking at buying a Honda G65 (6.8hp) motor and BMXs for the front end seem easy to come by so shouldn't be long getting parts together.........

I'm making a start on my trike, got some bits together so thought I'd start a thread in the projects section - wrote it out, put the pictures in, previewed it and it seemed fine but I can't see it now I've submitted it, does it go to a moderator for approval first?
