So I'm a new member. I have a project that will keep me on here pestering everyone for info constantly. I will update with pictures often. My son's Carter spx was a fun kart for a while. However, the 6hp Tecumseh powersport was junk and after we finally got everything adjusted properly it blew up. Like big huge hole in the block under the starter. So I decided to take the motor from my kazuma cheetah 200 and make a shifter kart. Woohoo!

Umm, yeah. Something let go in a big way. IIWM, I'd strip the engine before you junk it; I've lost count of the amount of times I've seen people looking for tecumseh parts...

Welcome to the forum; being canstantly pestered for info is why we're here

So I didn't have much trouble mounting the motor and I have some ideas about linkage that will simplify the clutch placement problem. The first big problem I'm having is the wiring. Apparently it's common knowledge that there are no kazuma resources like a manual or wiring diagram in all of our online world of life. All these wires!!! What do I need? What can I just cut? I don't plan to implement lights from the bike at this time though I think I might at another time. I know I need that little aluminum box thing and the magnet for the spark is different, but what else do I have to have to make it run?:mad2:
