Looked around, liked the info, and decided to join.
New to karting, but not electrics. My 4 yr old has had a power wheels craftsman ford for the last two years. After about 6 months of it, I increased to 12v and he had a blast. A year ago, I got him the Injusa 6v sport bike. After only a month, he said, "Dad, it needs to be faster." So I bumped that one up to 12v, too.
This Christmas, Santa brought him a new Razor Ground Force (not drifter). I have moved the seat forward, but I need to start looking at increasing sprocket, voltage, wheels, etc. All in due time, I guess. The wife says its fast enough now, but my boy is like me...more speed.
I look forward to future assistance and ideas.
