I recently picked up this Clark from my local Craigslist. While I was attempting to do some research on it I happily stumbled on to this site. This winter I plan on completely redoing it. It looks as if it was originally orange. I'm doubtful it will return to that color, but there's a ton of work to be done before I decide on color.

I figured they would be hard to come by. If I wanted to use different rims & tires (like those on a shifter cart) I would need to pick up a set of hubs to mount them to correct? Do the hubs mount to the axle with just the keyway, or do they use set screws as well? I'm guessing the fronts would just float on the spindles?

That is correct. Keyway and set screws for rear hubs and the fronts just float

Hi Chukb213 - you have a Clark Cyclops model 440. I'm just starting to restore mine (exactly same kart as yours). Looks like it has the original red/orange paint.

Man! I got to start checking the Intros more often. I'm a Clark guy too...been looking for the same wheels forever. I'm using blasphemously vintage Hand wheels for now.
