Hello all,
I'm 25 years old, I really enjoy go karting with friends, but now I would like to start a league and race. There is someone selling a go kart for 250 pound but it hasn't got an engine. It's a TKM year 2006. I have a few pictures. So what im asking is what would you say to do,. I don't want to spend 2-3k on a go kart at this stage. But at the same time I don't want to spend 250 pound on something that's going to cost more rebuilding.

Thanks

Minty

Most prices are location based. I can't really tell from those small pics, but if you have everything there except the engine, it might be a good deal. Are there similar karts for sale in the same area? What are they selling for?

That looks pretty well kept from what I can see. You'll need an engine and a clutch, perhaps a fuel pump too. Look around and see what they're worth.

Welcome to the forum.

Thanks for your replies.

He's selling due to having got it for his kid but it's more for a 12 year old / adult.
Having looked around prices are fairly competitive. I've inquired about a 200cc in need of a few parts. for 200 pound.

So i will wait out and see what happens.

Thanks again for your help
