Hello I need help identifying this engine

Hello fam, I need help identifying this engine, I have no info other that pictures, I recently purchased this go kart , it came without a cold air intake filter and I’m trying to get a replacement, thanks in advance

Back in the 1970's, (before Honda made the overhead valve GX series engines) they made the Flathead G100, G150, G200, G300 & G400 series engines. I think you might have one of those, and it should have it's CC-size cast into the engine somewhere that'll further help Identify it.

PS: you need to post a pic showing the Pull-start side...

Yea, I’m changing my vote to the old Honda. They were really rare pieces around me back then. 3x as expensive as a Briggs or Takashema engine.

I think your heading into some uncharted waters there. My best advice is to grab a measuring device and take a bunch of measurements and start looking around for something that will fit or can be made to fit. Probably not many of us have actually seen one let alone laid hands on one. They were very reliable from what I had heard. May the force be with you!
