I wish I could say yes but that was a long time ago. We are talking 1964-65. I'll give it a look in the old pictures and see if there are any. I can give you a description though. Mini bike was just run of the mill type with a West Bend 3hp. The go cart was if I remeber correctly was made by a guy that made race car chassis I was told. The frame was tubing bent in a u shape front to back then back to front. the motor fit down in back of the seat. another West Bend it had a disc brake also. My cousin used to mix his own model air plane fuel so we jetted an extra carb I had for castor oil, methanol and about 10 or 15 percent nitro. It ran pretty good and made the neighborhood smell good also. Mike

Hey! Big Tujunga is part of a big virtual cruise we do almost every night! Angeles Forest Highway, Upper Big T, Barely Flats to Mt Lawlor. Sometimes well end up at Mt. Wilson, sometimes Mt Disappointment. Sometimes we go alien hunting. Never found one, just get smacked by this angry guy every time we go searching.


My kid has 6-7 active tickets and he aint got his yet... Hes estgoing fo some kinda idiot record.

I'm down past vogel flats Trailunga Speciael use lots. Angeles National Forest. No trees tthough, some forest but beats living in town. Mike

I didn't feel spoiled, both parents worked so I was pretty much on my own. Had a couple of paper routes worked in a Shell gas station to pay for my projects. When guys get old enough for cars and motorcycles I got bit pretty hard. thats all I thought about and did. It took alot of effort to finally get where I had enough knowledge and experience to make stuff work "sorta".
also guys don't worry about offending, injuring etc me cause I have tough skin I can take it. Mike

Well that's good to hear; once in a while we get ones that are super sensitive and find offense in everything. We have a few jokers here but no one actually mean. Those folks get zapped.
