new member from scranton pa .i have many go carts and mini bikes .some i build some i just restore .it is all done as a hobby although i do like to sell some from time to tine to make some room .i have two that i would like to list for sale now but im not allowed to post in the for sale catagory .is there any reason why this is

since this is a forum with "total strangers" and no user verification,
you must have a minimum number of posts to post in the "for sale" category.

just to have some sort of minimum protection against fraud.

The main reason is, as itsid pointed out, this is a go kart forum, not craigslist; we have, previously, had members who sign up, hock their wares & are never heard from again; that's not why we're here...

It goes back to the days when most classifieds weren't free & people signed up to avoid paying for advertising...
