Hello,
As Christmas time is comming - I started my build. Friend of mine make frame for me - but ... the angle of front for is to high and itis super long :/ I want to cut the frame and make all gokart smaller. Any ideas and proposal to keep the trike form + use gokart wheel and tire in front + break in the front -maybe ideas with pictures ?

I am looking for sugesstions

Welcome to the forum!! As for what you can do to modify your current frame, it would probably be easier to start over; while the rear is designed like a go kart, it's relatively small. The work you would have to perform to graft that small piece into a different design would be more than you would have to copy that section when you build the whole new frame.....:surrender:

Welcome, my Polish freind! I know a couple people from Poreba (i think i spelled it right). Very nice folks....
DEJA VU..... I JUST had a dream last night, after seeing a movie trailer, about build exactly what you got there! And to my surprise, when I woke up,I find this post.
I dont see anything wrong with what you got. Slap some 10-12" tall tires on the back and see what its looking like then. Maybe put a shorter BMX style front tire.
You have already come so far to start over in my opinion. Just finish this, and keep an open mind. Realize what could be better, and take note for your next build. I like what you have so far. Real slick if you ask me.. Would like to see that thing as a finished project. Its really pretty cool if you think about it, at least from my standpoint....

Hi and welcome..

If I tried to place an engine onto the carpet like that I'd get my head chopped off.

I actually like that layout, it looks to be uncomfortable large, I agree.

But instead of rewelding the entire frame, why don't you just move the seat forward?
That should do the trick... and you gain a little more space for the engine (and it's service)

Realize what could be better, and take note for your next build.

This is great advice^^ When working from your own design, your first build should always be considered as a trial run too weed out all the design flaws...

Working from a bought plan is different, the design has been tried & tested so, all the hard work is done for you

I really like this frame. Yeah, the arse end is a little wide, but HARDER to flip by the same aspect. See the bar I circled? Cut that out, and put your seat bottom in that hole for better comfort and looks. Use about 12" tires in the back. Scoot that engine over a lil, and add another one.... MAN this would be a real head turner for sure....
Ok,so just put the seat in that hole, and finish this with what you got. I think you are doing a GREAT job for a first build. Imagine the next build...... even better.... thats how it works. The song says, "life is a dance sometimes you know, sometimes you lead ,sometimes you follow. Dont worry about what you dont know, life is a dance that you learn as you go..... " (OMG a country song with a life lesson?)
Just realized i didnt post the pic.....

Hi guys,
Thanks ! Some parts are missing so I will not end it up before end of my holidays - have to wait till april for next one.

Generaly frame design I used google sketch up - works well for design.

Looks great to me - chopper / bobber style - but I need something which I can use in narrow forest :/

But total bike is 2.40 meters :/ and because of the angle I will break this front fork , and I test it without engine. - to turn it is super uncomfortable.

I still got some time to figure it out.

Temporary I change the seat for bobber style- and I am waiting for smaller one - with flat bottom.

Gear ratio question. GX200 clone - with 16 / 84 sprocet -will have enough torque ? What could be top speed

WOW!

I love that seat...

it's pretty much useless for heavy driving, but because of that it's awesome.

finish it like that (well and at least give it a try)
it looks great :D

:wai: Not if your going in reverse. Yes they are backwards, Just take the tires with the rims and switch sides. What is the purpose of that bar in the front pointing towards the tire? Foot pegs maybe?

The wheels are just put with one nut to see how it ends. I have put left to right.

Yes the front is for the pegs -
