I'm pleased to join this forum, it appears to be one of the best ones.
I have a 9 year old grand nephew, and he loves to build stuff. So I decided to have one day a week in my shop ("shop day") with him. This gives us good time another, and I hope to impart some of my skills and experience with car maintenance, fabrication, and metal working.
We decided to rebuild an old Sears go-kart, and we are starting with a live axle install. We'll move to some other improvements, strip and paint it, and get it back on the road. He's very creative and some has custom touches he wants to do.
So I'll be posting a few questions along the way.
