I recently purchased an older kart for my daughter. I couldn't resist as it had a fiberglass Mustang II body that matches dad's car.

I'm in Altoona, PA a couple of hours west. Thanks for the comment on my car. It's a fun toy/project/money pit. Hopefully the cart will be as much fun for her in the comming years. The plans are to rework the cart a bit make it a better runner and over this winter with the help of my painter and an airbrush guy he knows paint to to pretty much match dad's car. The body is in decent shape for it's age, there are just a couple of cracks but fiberglass is an easy repair.

sounds like you have a great project! i personaly am a mustang guy if im in a car show and i see a mustang in the corner of my eye i just kinda get sucked to it like a magnet. what year is yours?

The car is a 76 Mustang II Cobra II. I've done a bunch of modifications. Makes it a fun ride to cruise around in.

Its a nice car but i think the 60s fastbacks look better, but im still a mustang guy and i love these things!!! You did some nice work on yours. did you fully restore it yourself or send it away?

I sent nothing away. The only people that have seen that car further apart then me are the people at Ford who put it together. I didn't paint it myself but a friend did I was helping sand it and weld and everyting else. I rebuilt the engine, overdrive transmission and the Rear diff. that are currently in the car.

Nice I dont find it as nice getting a car that was pre built and restored for you. I might be getting a 1967 mustang coupe for 400$ and im lookin to restore it with my father!
