Hello everyone,
My son and I are endeavoring to build an electric cart as our big summer project. We are novices in just about every aspect of this build but relish the challenge. Our primary goals are to build something elegant, efficient and extremely thrifty. We have not decided on the final cab design but are leaning toward a design based on a vintage Taylor Dunn utility cart; less speed, more torque. And lastly, if we manage to pull this off, we would like to incorporate a solar panel. Our primary materials will be wood with some metal reinforcements. Looking forward to documenting the build and sharing it with this community.
