I built a kart with my (then) 7yo daughter last year, it was lots of fun & a great bonding experience. Yes, I did most of the work (cutting, welding, grinding, etc) but, as far as the mechanical & setup stuff, she was as hands on as possible; she did as much as possible (with instruction) & I only stepped in if she was having difficulty.

Hey thanx to everybody for the warm welcome. As for the dutch, I understood most of it yes. Pretty similar if you look at it. And to all of you that offered to help me, be careful what you ask for hehehehe.
