hello i am from virginia. i recently purchased a mig/flux welder and i plan on building a kart. i would like to use a 125cc 2 stroke if i can find one for a reasonable price. if not ill probably find a b&s or honda 4 stroke. but to get started i want to build the frame myself. i have found one set of complete plans. just seeing if there is anything else out there for a road racing type kart using a 2 stroke, live axle and i would like to use cable disc brakes if that is possible. :cheers2::stir::idea2:

:welcome2: A member on here, Anderkart, has some dimensions for a racing frame if that is what you want. I'm sure you could send him a PM. What plans do you already have?

A 125cc 2 stroke powered go kart will be lots of fun but, it depends what you consider "a reasonable price"; a 4 stroke industrial engine (B&S, Honda or clone) will be a lot cheaper & easier to set up but, of course, not as much fun.

By "cable disc brakes" can I assume you mean mechanical disc brakes (as opposed to hydraulic)?
