hello everyone!! noob here with a few questions

Hi my name is Roberto. I'm in Rhode island. I have an opportunity to trade a 25 gal compressor for 2 mini bikes and a gokart. All do not run and they are on craigslist for $475 for all three. My question is do you think it's worth me trading my compressor for them and if I decided to get the mini bikes running, how much do you think they could sell for? $150-200?? My son wants a project and after visiting this site so do I..lol. you guys build some awesome stuff!!

It depends on a few things. Are things generally pricey around your area- I imagine they might be in Rhode Island.

how much do you value your compressor at $$ ?

The two mini bikes appear to have all the parts on them. they might just need carb cleaned or something simple - who knows.....

Those engines are fine for a child under 150lbs on generally flat surface. For an adult it will work but really struggles. It is only 2.5hp. You would need a 5hp for an adult.

they look like they were left outside and not cared for properly. Might have water damage- who knows...

IMO I would not pay more than $25-$75 per bike. Check for cracks in frames.

The go kart looks really rough, but unique. IMO I would not pay more than $100 MAX...

Thanks 2slicknick, I thought so. The guy wants 475 for all. He told me over the phone that the bikes have been left outside all their lives. The kart looks really rough. I guess I'll just have to build my own.. lol. Thanks again!
