Hello everyone on DIYGOKARTS, good to be here. Here myself to learn and ask questions. Been building small engines off and on for 38 years. Specializing In Honda, Predator, Ducar, Tillotson 6.5hp horizontal electric/pullstart 1 cylinder engines. Enjoy rehabbing/rebuilding minibikes, I have 2 1 db30 and a mm80 with a predator 212 hemi and the db30 has a 224cc stroker bith with torque converters, but different gear ratios.

I've got a Husqvarna 208, and a Ducar 212, on [not so] minibikes.

Traditionally speaking, more like mini choppers, chop off the unnecessary, add spice as desired... just adding long forks does not make any bike a chopper.

Hello and welcome! I personally love mini bikes, but I haven't been able to find one I really love (affordably anyway) since I let go of my baby (in my profile picture) a few months ago. I hope to be reunited with her soon... I sold her to my uncle a while back on a condition he would sell it back to me for what he had into it, and he has just let is sit and rot . Sadly that's out of control until I move out there to Kentucky to take it back.

That's how it is here in Michigan. I used to love garbage day around here, so many mini bikes that people would throw out and we would snatch them up all the time.
