Back to my question, you mentioned having a military gas engine. Do you know what make / model it is?

I have one sitting in my garage, just curious if it's the same thing you're referring to.

just google 4 cylinder gas military engine, it is a small green one

Sorry, I must have missed the 4cyl part if it was mentioned previously.

Mine's a 2 cylinder, horizontal shaft. Mostly aluminium so it's very light. Green colour.

I did find some info on it, was used to power a generator.

Rated at a disappointing 3HP@3600 RPM. capacity is 16 cu inch.

Haven't decided what to do with it yet, might find a use for it one day..

Not sure what my Wife's reaction will be as I have a go kart sitting there with the rear end on axle stands at the moment...

For the sake of my marriage and keeping on the right side of the kids I should get the kart running first.
