Oh wow! You’re right you just may have found the perfect kart. Just don’t hurt those axles and u joints. They’re made from unobtainium, and can’t be gotten in this galaxy. Welcome to the madness!

You're wrong. The best go kart is an American Express or a Dingo. 😁
Looks like near-perfect condition though. Most if not all labels and signage intact, original(?) Tecumseh engine, etc. I'd be afraid to use it much.

Look at those early VW style swing axles, so primitive but a tech wonder on a go kart where solid live axles have ruled the day for 50+ years.

I like your kart. I have one ( very different ) A Baja Motor Sports Blaster 65. It has U- joints on each rear axle. Somewhat like yours. We have owned the kart since
2008. 17years. Most of the use it has seen is off road. Have never had one single problem with the U-joints. Take it out and have some fun with it.

Are the joints serviceable via a Zerk fitting?
Yes. Each one has a zerk in it. Just an aside, A few years back ( on this forum I think ) someone had a post with the exact same kart, stating that they were getting ready to put a 420 predator on it. I responded with concern about the
U-joints. Think it was one of those post where the OP never came back. FWIW,
I have run a few really modified 212's on mine, and it now has a little bit less modified 224. Not going to get anything bigger than that.
