Guys,
I have a Helix 150cc buggy (TSC) and it stumbles on acceleration, as if its running out of gas. I have replaced the carb with a new one, replaced fuel filter, and cleaned the in-tank screen. I'm stumped. It starts and idles fine, even revs up, but in gear, when you take off it cuts out and you have to pump the throttle to get it to run at all.
I'm frustrated with this thing.
Any advice?
Thanks.
Mark

Have you checked the roller weights? Is the carburetors main and pilot jets the same size as stock?

Also do you may want to check your float height. The carbs are handled rough during shipment. I don't remember what it supposed to be on those carbs...
Maybe 18mm - 19.5mm.

Did the carb come with a new fuel enrichment valve?
Those tend to malfunction commonly.

Check to see if it has a low oil sensor. If the oil is low and you accelerate it will shut it down.

Those engines do not have to type a sensor.

What are the roller weights?

I'm not sure about the carb specs. Not familiar with this type of carb. I'm a car guy.. :auto:
