own an older car with oxidized headlights? maybe you already know, but oxidization can be removed from headlight lenses with toothpaste. weve all seen the headlight restore kits that require a drill of some sorts but this seems much easier. just grab two rags, a dollar tube of toothpaste and your hose and your set. apply toothpaste to headlight and rub with a dry rag all over in circular motions,i used half a tube per light. when light is fully covered with a sufficient amount of toothpaste and has been rubbed in, grab your hose and make a hard stream and let all the toothpaste get washed off.when finished dry with your other rag and move to your other headlight and repeat. the difference is quite noticable and its better than paying 3$ for a kit. ill post pictures soon of the difference

on my trucks if any damage happens to the headlight. i walk into the parts store, buy new headlight and replace. only cost me about $10 per headlight unless you want to get the fancy ones which will cost you a bit more. got to love the simplicity of the old sealed beam headlights.
