Well I started tearing down the old motorcycle. Once I get the motor out I'm gonna mount it in a box frame to tune it and get it running right. One thing I'm worried about is keeping it cool. It's air cooled so I'll probably have to keep some fans on it when I'm testing it, and when I finally mount it.

fans???? not sure thats a good long term solution.. as far as riding goes, fans won't work long when covered in mud, so that'd be ok for a dune cart, but not for a woods rider. you need to find some other ways to channel air back there, maybe some "scoops" or something.

What are you planning to build with it? I agree with ryf on the fans. I'd make like a funnel thing or something to channel the wind to the engine while your moving. But it shouldnt be to much of a problem unless you box the engine in. Those engines are made to be able to stop at intersections and stuff like that.
