Having a Hard Time adjusting Toe

The assembly guidlines for my azusa kart says to adjust the toe in to be 1/16" closer together in the front. Currently it's 3/4" closer in the front. The problem I'm running into is the tie rod ends are getting really difficult to adjust inwards. So much so that I bent the right one a little bit.

Yes and it's getting very difficult to adjust them inwards.

Why's that. It looks like you have at least an inch and a half more threads.

Is your tierod too long and bottoming out in the joint?

And remember you want to adjust left and right equally so the steering wheel is still centered.

Edit: if your rods are on the trailing side then they need to go longer. Then you might be running out of thread.

How about the other end of that same link. Can you get some slack from there?

All 4 tie rods ends have bottomed out as far as I can tell, and both eye to eye lengths are equal.

Edit: I'm going through the kit list and the Tie Rod Assembly Kits state that the rod itself is 11" x 5/16-24. Should I buy shorter 10" rods?

Post a pick of the whole front end.

Do you need to go longer or shorter.

You can cut the bar if you need shorter. But don't cut 3 times just to find your still too short.

Turn a nut onto the threads and then cut. You can then turn the nut off, making sure the threads at the end aren't mangled. If you don't, you are going to have a hard time getting a nut back on

Cut off little bits at a time... More of a pain trying to weld new ones on later..

Next time when resistance is felt... Stop... Try to back off... Rethink what's happening...
Easier to fix slightly buggered than screwed... (No pun intended)...

I completely blame the 'assembly guidlines' booklet that came with this kit. I was only following the guidlines so to speak. It's whatever, I'll just find a better tie rod kit.

Yep.
Those are the "Econo" tie rod ends.
Spend a few bucks and get good ones.
Do sone measuring and get good tie rods as well.
Steering isn't a place to cut corners.
