Have some trouble with my go kart its carter brothers fun kart

So I keep have problems with my kart my bearing keep fall out on the side where sprocket is and I'm haveing problem with the jackshaft plate it's bent and the jackshaft keeps sliding I did motor swap on the kart I put 212 in put .265 hot cam rew Rod, flywheel 22lb springs 22 mill mikuni carb an some other thing please help if you can or ideas will help

Okay, this should be a pretty easy fix, but fairly involved. But first, get me multiple pictures (both sides) of the sprocket-side bearing hanger. My theory is the kart is missing a bearing “carrier”. Here’s a picture of one. Keep in mind it’s from a different brand. Once you identify what they look like (by checking both sides for something similar) make sure the problem side has one on both sides. Nice paint job.

Show us exactly what bearing keeps falling out. Also pictures of the exact problem areas would be helpful also.

Here is an image of your setup. Try and straighten the mount plate as best you can, make sure all 4 bolts are installed in the plate and torqued then use this bearing set to lock in the bearing.

For the bearings that are falling out of the tube you could try shrinking the tube. Take the tube and heat it up with with a mapp gas torch until it just starts to get red and then quench with room temp water. Just straighten the jack shaft mount.

So your saying for the jack shaft plate heat it up till red hot then hit with water what will it do to mental will it keep it from bending

I believe Denny is referring to the axle tube. I would agree. It sounds like the bearing had gone bad at some point and was not replaced causing the tube to widen at the opening. Lots of torque on one end of the axle tube. You could get a caliper and measure both sides and see how far it has stretched the tube. If it’s too far out you could maybe find some very thin shims, but it’s not going to be a quick solution with 100% accuracy. With heating and cooling the tube your hoping there is some memory. The other option might be just sticking dry ice in the end to try and shrink it, but again if it’s too far out of tolerance you may need to replace the axle tube.

The setup appears to be fairly unique. Is this a single wheel drive? It looks as though the driven clutch shaft directly connects to the driven gear behind the wheel.

It's a live axle both rear wheels spin but yea that did happen so I just got try shrink it
