Well, there isn't any single manufacturer left from tose days of yard karts.
Luckily most parts are generic and can be replaced by off the shelf parts you'll find anywywhere
like gokartsupply.com, gopowersports.com, mfgsupply.com etc etc.
Some suggestions:
The kart originally came with 15" diameter rears (15-6x6 IIRC)
and that's what I'd swap back to to make the kart maneuverable again..
the wider they are the faster it needs to go to make a turn...
(well or it needs an ice path
)
so yeah might look cool.. but is in fact a pubertarians version of brain fart.
the taller the wheels are the less torque the kart will have to get going.
and at one point the gear ratio is bad enough to fry the clutch instead of moving ..
so the diameter will need to be kept as small as feasible or the gear ratio has to be adjusted.
Talking of better ratio:
I'd suggest getting a series 30 Tav2Kit clone from ebay or such, it's a belt driven CVT that replaces your centrifugal clutch,
gives you a significant benefit in terms of gear ratios, and isn't expensive either.
(50-60 bucks these days)
And lastly the engine.. get rid of that exhaust ....
one hard rain it sees and the motor will by hydrolocked and dead if you're not terribly lucky.
Well you only need an elbow header to make it point in a more suitable direction that up
and the airfilter is too small for a 200cc engine. (it's for a 50cc engine)
almost more restrictive than the original one IYAM..
again airfilter an exhaust are very much indicative for pubertarian lack of experience
