The Honda GX series engines, esp the GX200 series with the gear reduction drive with cltuch, is used on almost all rental fun karts. Very good, durable engines. The 6.5HP harbor freight blue motor, is a "clone" of the Honda GX200, just made in China. I have the clone 6.5HP on my kart, and it works great. For 130 bucks, you cant beat it, although it's not exactly up to par with the excellent quality of a genuine Honda.

Honda is excellent quality will last you for years... The knock off ones arent nearly as good quality but they still do a good job theyre just more prone to breaking down.. I personally would go for the honda. Better parts.
