Has anybody ever seen this electric go-kart before???

Hi not to long ago we acquired a go kart from a motor dealers in a part exchange deal. We were going to put a petrol motor in it but as it has been so well engineered and for electric use we are now thinking of restoring it as an electric kart. We've never built an electric go-kart before so I'm wondering if anybody on here has ever seen this kart before, at a show, in a magazine or on a forum somewhere, I would love to see the original info on it, a build diary or anything relating to its construction or to find the original builder? Bit of a long shot but thought i would give it a go. Someone has put a lot of time into it and could probably be made road legal with a bit of effort.

the decals are not exactly telling.. brembo is an italian brake manufacturer, and fusion is an australian car audio company AFAIK.

So yeah...

what kind of motor is installed, batteries.. controller.. take some pics to help identify the parts, maybe we can go from there

Personally I think it's HomeMade.. nicely done with good skill and tool set obviously, but not a commercial product.

Thanks for the replies. I will post some more pictures soon, the batteries and electric motor have been removed. I know its been hand made (really well), its not a commercial product. Anybody got a rough estimate of what it could be worth with no batteries or motor and when fully restored?

Not sure how to price something like that. Also knowing your location will be a factor.
Post some pics with the body off, i am very interested in the way its built.
