I picked up a new Monster Moto 80 mini bike on close out from Sears around 2019 and pulled the 80cc motor off and put it on an old gas edger I had. That's about all those 79cc Preds are good for. đŸ˜‚

Through a built 212cc on the bike.

[#62554] 8 HP for 214.99. That’s an odd price. According to the price tracker (page 1 of this thread), that’s the lowest it’s ever been or in a long long time.

Nice. Why are ultrasonic cleaners *of any useful size* so dadburned expensive?
I have that one, Kartorbust. It’s very very decent and if you play with the depth of the juice, it can swallow most small engine carburetors no problem.

As for the ratchet, I guess that’s their premium brand with lifetime warranty. The HF cult is going wild for anything Icon.

I've been using ICON ratchets at work for quite a while. They are not bad. The breaker bar sized one I put on might be useful, especially for guys who might have to do camber/caster adjustments on vehicles and a normal breaker bar might be too much of a pain to use.

I will probably get an ultrasonic cleaner at some point, maybe one of the larger ones, not sure yet.

I love my ultrasonic - got the next size up at HF about 6 months ago and it has changed my life when it comes to cleaning BCGs for my .223 and .308 ARs. I use the HD Simple Green that is aircraft/aluminum safe. They come out looking like they have never been used.

*Holy cow moment* ... The pistol barrel, spring and spring guide in that ultrasonic picture (Kartorbust) are from a Ruger P90. Ha! I love my P90!

I picked up a Anbull 10L/2.6 gallon ultrasonic from Amazon in 2022. Same as WD said Simple Green works awesome on firearms and parts especially BCG's. No need to fully disassembly all the time. I us it on all kinds of things, RC parts, firearms, bike parts, etc.....Saves a ton of time. Get the biggest one you can or want to afford.

Do all the Max Perf Rotaderps have a plastic cam gear? I might be getting that tire changer....

Mustie1 uses a mesh tea strainer thing to hold the little jets and stuff in his ultrasonic. I need something like that.

Yep. That's the one I have. Love it. How did that carb turn out?
Haven't finished it yet. Waiting on the mail man...... 2 weeks from anywhere.
It seemed to do an ok job. It didnt get 100% of the dirt off the outsides. I scraped and nylon brushed them to get the majority of the crud off but left some to see how effective the cleaner was.

The inside looked good. Had some staining still. Not sure if carb clean will cut that.

I filled the tank with hot water to start so it didnt have to heat it, just maintain.
Used a plastic container filled with gas and set it in the basket. Parts in the gas.

The gas didnt hurt the plastic but the heat sure made it warp. Ill be looking for glass breakers.

When I picked it up I was not set on which one I wanted. The little one was $99. When I saw the size of it, I decided it was for jewelery and just will never be big enough for anything I'd want to put in it.
The 6L one was $150. They had the lid straped on and I couldn't see inside, but It looked like you could fit a 4bbl carb in it.
