OK, that does it, I quit...............snapping tires? Gadzooks!!!

Yah the center hub that holds the bearings is pressed in place not welded. So any real amount of side force like turning, could snap it off.

I welded mine together, purchased good bearings...and after 15minutes of fun I replaced the tires with Walmart tractor tires. $15 each. No problems with them so far. But I’ve only put a couple good hours on them. Need to find a good place to ride.

Stupid kalifornia gokart laws...

Anyways, be safe out there.

Also depends on the kart and where you ride. If it's a 15mph yard kart that runs on grass, they might do ok. If it's a 40mph kart that runs on tarmac and does a lot of hard cornering, they will scrub bald and the hubs will snap off in no time.

:iagree:

My daughters kart had those on the front & I'm using them on the twin karts which will only do around 15mph around the yard; any faster than that & I'd be spending a lot more...

No, the point will never be made. If you do a forum search, the same topic comes up a sextillion times.

They are not go kart tires/wheels and there's not a product description anywhere saying they are. It could conceivably be a confusion with Northern Tool & Equipment which is HF's closest competitor whom actually sells bona fide go kart wheels...

Maybe this was a thread designed to troll the forum?

Nice hijack.

Those are not HF tires. If they were, I'd say SURE, GO AHEAD :D

I'd make your own thread, because this one is for the obvious purposes of satire.
