Ya i got one of them, $71 plus tax, and i put the 2 year replacement warrenty for 20 bucks. So around the original price ($89) and if it ever breaks, they pull a new one off the shelf
i got one for $99 that included the 2 year warrenty... the throttle lever is pretty tight... i haven't looked at how to hook it up to a gas pedal yet but anybody got suggestions.. this is my first go kart im looking to build... i got a frame and old engine for $10 plus a minibike... both engines dont work so i got a new one for the go kart... i know a lot about engines but not much about the chassie and other components yet... i only know basics and how everything works but no hands on expirience
You just need to loosen up the bolt (your throttle lever pivots on) a little. They come tightened up so the throttle will stay wherever set when using the engine for non-go kart applications like generators, water pumps and stuff.
