It also takes a lot of massaging to get any real performance out of it. Aftermarket goodies are the same price as those for the 420. I bought a used kart that had a brand new 301 on it. So I built it. Not that much harder to pull than the 212's.
Took some serious head work and a very high stall TC driver to wake it up.

One of these days I’m going to put that 79cc engine in a pocket bike that I can throw in a trunk or carry under my arm. Mini bikes‘r getting too big these days.
