We should lock this thread up now that search it has been said and that it can be found in at least 2 threads recently updated (within a week).

Hell, I might even write a guide, the amount of people asking this is getting kind of ridiculous..... There must of been three of four this week.

Modifying engine's is always basically the same thing, increase the flow, increase the compression(to a point anyway), allow more revs and lessen the resistance. Then of course there's fuels (eg alky and NOS) and forced induction.

Thanks

Hayden

We really should sticky a guide as to how to mod a motor. For the basics, air filter and exhaust. For a bit more, remove the gov., billet flywheel, new carb, rejet, boring, etc., i could go on and on.

I'm thinking about picking one up this weekend. They are on sale again for $100 and I still have some 20% off coupons left. So for that price I can't pass it up

According to my local HF store, if an item is listed as a "super coupon", the 20% cannot be used. The 6.5 is currently advertised as such. But call your local: it's worth a try.
