Hammerhead LE 150 - Carburetor upgrade options

Good evening,
I'm on the market for carburetor upgrades for my Hammerhead LE 150. I don't have much experience with engines so when something doesn't look the same, I don't quite understand it. Based on Google searching, it appears there are performance carburetors. No additional upgrades required, it says, but I can't find a video of anything explaining how to replace it step-by-step.
I'm looking at the two options below. Looking at the pictures, it looks like the cable for the throttle/gas is on the top. I'm not sure how that would convert to the original, which is on the side on something that looks like half a wheel (rotates instead of pulling up). Also, the cable for the choke is not the same. Rollingwrench sells theirs with the air filter. My Hammerhead has a air BOX with two hoses going in and out. If I were to use the unit from Rollingwrench, what happens to the air box and the two hoses?
If you have the answer to my questions, please share. Or, if you have suggestions of places I contact/go to, that would help as well. I live in Virginia, near NOVA. There might be a place about 2 hours from me but they don't answer their phones to answer questions.

The smartest thing you could do to that kart is to just put it back stock. They are a big enough pain in the neck.

I was trying not to get a bad GoKart but a good one to last for a long time. If I'm able to get it running and sell it, which do you recommend to get, same style buggy like GoKart? It would have to be under 5K.

Unfortunately they are all made in the same place by different companies. But it seems the quality is the same across the board. Who knows with Polaris at the wheel in a few years they may just get them straightened out. In the meantime get the plans to Spiderkarts Granddaddy and get to building!

Are those kits to assemble? I have to be realistic with what I can do and the time I have. If assembling and following instructions is all I need, I can do that. If I will need to weld, cut metal and search the web for components, I don't have that much time to invest on it, while being there for my kid to take him to his school activities and sport events.
