Hello I have a few questions about my 2008 hammerhead 250 cc go kart. The first one is what is this black think that is on the side of the head with a hose on the bottom that goes down then uses a tee fitting to divert in to 2 hoses.and there is a hose on the top WHERE does this hose go to. And my main question is about my engine running condition normally the idle the idle for them is more crisp and dosen‘t have a rhythm to it I'd you want to hear it just search hammerhead 250 on YouTube. My engine does not idle consistently it has a rhythm to it but it still runs with no stalling. I put a new good aftermarket carb on I don't know if it is the carb because with the old carb it ran so poorly and only went like 12 mph now it does like fourtey mph. I don't know why so I would really apreciate help. My final question is can you leave cooling fans on non stop because I think I fried mine because I have them on a toggle swich because the sensor or something failed. I don't know if yumjust can't do that or if my motors were weak. I know there is a lot of stuff but I would apreciate any help.

I believe the hose on top connects to the valve cover.
