GY6 85cc engine on my kart?

I have a scooter with a 50cc engine bored to 85cc. I just got it running again this morning, and got to thinking if it'd actually work on the kart.


The only concern I'd have is if it'd have enough power to pull the go kart and whoever was riding it.

Unfortunately, no. It's a 4 stroke

It is slightly small for a kart, but gear it right, like real low, and you could have a stump puller. You just won't be getting anywhere fast

I bet it would work ok if geared well, there are lots of 49cc scooters running around town, they do 30mph.
