gx390 idling problem

i have a 13hp motor completly stock, and i cant get it to idle.

ive checked the valves numerouse amounts of times andd i still cant get it to idle. it only seems to idle (very rich idle) on half choke. ive messed with the idle screw and the other screw on that side but nothing seems to be helping.

does anyone know what could be causing this?

The intake gasket on wrong causing a blockage to the low speed circuit. Or the carb itself has a minor clog in the low speed jet.

the intake gasket is on right and i cleaned the low speed jet and i still cant get it to idle.

Sounds like an air leak, but if it runs on half choke at idle that means you are running to lean. Because when the choke is being closed off more fuel is being pushed into the engine making it more rich.

it was an air leak. the gasket between the head and the little black spacer(dont know the Correct name) was bad. i made a new one and its fine.
