I have a honda gx390 and I believe I have a fuel issue. The engine will not start or try to start. I have spark because I replaced the cdi coil also I have fuel in the bowl. Any ideas would be very helpful. I will try to get the carb cleaned out tomorrow to see if that will help.

Just because you have a new coil doesn't mean you have spark; have you physically checked it? Remove the spark plug, plug it into the lead, rest it against the engine & pull the starter; now, does it have spark?

Once you've established you have spark at the plug, pour a teaspoon of fuel directly into the spark plug hole, refit the spark plug & lead, then try starting it; if everything is ok, it should start & run for a few seconds...

I did do the spark check thing that's how I knew I had spark. I just got done cleaning the carb and the fuel bowl had rust in it and the jet was clogged. It also looked like there was calcium every where in it. But I got it all cleand out and I will reinstall it tomorrow and see if she cranks

If it doesn't work, you may have to tear it down & boil it in lemon juice to remove all the calcium build up
