I bought an honda gx340 engine last week and got it running.
I want to build an off road go kart with it using a 40 series torque converter(because of the 1" shaft on the engine) and a forward reverse gearbox, but i can't find a gearbox with a matching driven axle.
Does anyone have suggestions for a gearbox or pulley combinations for the torque converter? otherwise i am going to try and build a gearbox myself.

Answers are always appreciated!

I dont know about that, GoPowersports, a more reputable company, sells the same unit.

https://www.gopowersports.com/mid-reverse-gear-box/

They rate the box at only 7hp (in bold red font)

And the unit is designed to have a 30 series driven mounted directly on the input, a 40 series is alot wider, and more rotating mass. And if mounted as intended, the belt will be far out, and will bend the 5/8 shaft without a extra bearing support or something dumb.

Most "ebay" sellers like to exaggerate the specs to lure buyers

Anyway I have used the same gearbox behind a HM100 and tav2, no issues, IDK about much more.
